Dear Business Leader,
The Southern University Alumni Home Chapter (SUAF) is hosting two major fundraising events and we would like your support.
The Annual Black Ball honoring Dr. Leon R. Tarver, Ms. Gracie Perkins, and Mr. Lawrence Jackson will be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Southern University Cotillion Ballroom, 801 Harding Blvd., on Southern’s campus. The annual event serves as a tribute to the arts, while raising funds for scholarships. Tickets are $75 each.
The Annual Crawfish Boil and Music Festival will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Southern’s Mayberry Dining Hall lawn. It will feature a live band, a vendor fair and of course delicious boiled crawfish, and fish. Tickets are $35 each.
Both events are attended by hundreds of alumni, supporters, and friends. Your sponsorship will help us provide a successful and engaging experience for everyone. A portion of the proceeds will be used to support scholarships and alumni and student recruitment. Sponsorship opportunities are available for one or both events. See sponsorship levels below.
Thank you in advance for your support. For more information, contact Chairpersons Linda Veal at 225-485-7885 (cell) or Pauline North at 225-270-792 (cell) or go to our website, suhomechapter.org
